FRUITS & VEGETABLES CSA

Although most people are aware that organically raised food is without chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides, fewer realize that another primary goal of organic food production is the nurturing of healthy living soil. This is what produces food crops with optimal nutrition and flavor. At Misty Morning Farm, we go beyond organic (Certified Naturally Grown) to produce and deliver vegetables / fruit that is extremely fresh, highly nutrious and delightfully delicious to eat. “So good even your kids will like their veggies.” Diversity of our offerings is another advantage and a review of our availability chart shows many types of vegetables not usually found at chain stores.

The CSA is designed to provide easy access to safe, pure and tasty organic food at an affordable cost. Annual fees are based on family size and other factors more fully described in our application, and range from $250 to $650 per year. Members select the plan best suited to their needs as well as the payment plan that works best for them. Product is delivered on a weekly schedule via pick up at the farm or at selected off site locations. Menu planning tips, recipes and preservation ideas/methods related to the particular items in that weeks produce, are also available at pickup.
